Body Positivity Zine

This on going project started with one illustrations I drew late one night without much planning.  After sketching, I drew an illustration of myself wearing a crop top with the words "Teaching myself that crop tops have no weight limit."

I posted the drawing, and was surprised by the amount of feedback I received from people of all sizes who felt the same way. A lot of comments shared other sentiments about body image issues they had overcame/were working to overcome.

I reached out to the people who left the comments and asked if they had photos they would want to submit to create an ongoing project.  Each person who submitted a photo also submitted a lyric or saying that sums up their journey or how they feel in the moment the photo was taken.

I am currently working on the illustrations for issue two.
